The setup, in plain terms: Aria, a college student pushed to the brink by relentless campus bullying, meets a mysterious man on a luxury Halloween cruise who looks exactly like her secret crush—her professor. Every time they grow intimate, she glimpses a bizarre death in advance, and one by one, these dark premonitions come true.

The Plot in Three Beats

1. The setup. Aria, a college student pushed to the brink by relentless campus bullying, meets a mysterious man on a luxury Halloween cruise who looks exactly like her secret crush—her professor. Every time they grow intimate, she glimpses a bizarre death in advance, and one by one, these dark premonitions come true.
2. The turn. As the deaths pile up, Aria begins to awaken a power that transcends humanity, and she discovers that this cruise is no ordinary party—it is a massive, awakening sacrificial ground. Even more terrifying is the truth about the man who appears beside her night after night: his true identity is tied to the Underworld.
3. The payoff. And Aria herself is no ordinary human. A divine war that ended thousands of years ago is about to descend upon the mortal world once again, ignited by their reunion…

Why My Professor Is the Underworld King Holds Up

• the fated-mate tension charges even the quiet scenes
• the mythology is doled out in small, digestible pieces
• Aria is a lead you will either root for or argue about — both work.

The Episode Format — What to Expect

Before You Start: Three Practical Tips

• Use rewarded ads, not purchases. Watching an ad typically unlocks two more episodes, which covers most casual viewers end to end.
• Check in daily. A week of login streaks on ReelShort usually adds up to several extra free episodes.
• Keep subtitles on. The dialogue is fast and the plot leans on small asides; captions catch what the dub smooths over.

How It Stacks Up in the Werewolf & Vampire Genre

Against the big werewolf & vampire titles circling ReelShort right now, My Professor Is the Underworld King does not reinvent the formula, it just executes it cleaner than most. Blended-in secret baby & family elements keep the middle episodes from sagging.
