My GF Turned Into a Cat is a Sweet Romance short drama on ReelShort. One night, she pours her heart out to a priest in a church confessional and, with a magical pen, draws exactly what she longs for: herself sleeping in Leo’s arms.

What My GF Turned Into a Cat Is About

My GF Turned Into a Cat starts as a familiar sweet romance setup and then quietly raises the stakes every few minutes.

Here is the story in two short beats: Ella, a 22-year-old plus-size comic artist, secretly crushes on her handsome neighbor Leo, but she’s never had the courage to get close. One night, she pours her heart out to a priest in a church confessional and, with a magical pen, draws exactly what she longs for: herself sleeping in Leo’s arms.

The Plot in Three Beats

1. The setup. Ella, a 22-year-old plus-size comic artist, secretly crushes on her handsome neighbor Leo, but she’s never had the courage to get close. One night, she pours her heart out to a priest in a church confessional and, with a magical pen, draws exactly what she longs for: herself sleeping in Leo’s arms. The next morning, she wakes up as a roly-poly cat, right there in Leo’s bed.
2. The turn. To survive, Ella has to convince Leo she’s no ordinary cat. But her desperate attempts to communicate are all misread as signs of a cat in heat，and Leo books her for a spay surgery the very next morning! Now a plus-sized girl’s soul is trapped in a chubby cat’s body, living under the same roof with the man of her dreams.
3. The payoff. It’s the closest she’s ever been to him… and the most dangerous.

Why My GF Turned Into a Cat Holds Up

• the near-misses are choreographed like small set pieces
• it earns its sweetness instead of assuming it
• Ella is a lead you will either root for or argue about — both work.

Who Should Watch It

The Episode Format — What to Expect

Like most vertical dramas, My GF Turned Into a Cat runs in micro episodes that each end on a beat built to trigger “next”. Expect roughly 60 to 100 episodes, most between sixty and ninety seconds. Clear your evening before pressing play.

Before You Start: Three Practical Tips

• Use rewarded ads, not purchases. Watching an ad typically unlocks two more episodes, which covers most casual viewers end to end.
• Check in daily. A week of login streaks on ReelShort usually adds up to several extra free episodes.
• Keep subtitles on. The dialogue is fast and the plot leans on small asides; captions catch what the dub smooths over.

How It Stacks Up in the Sweet Romance Genre

Against the big sweet romance titles circling ReelShort right now, My GF Turned Into a Cat trades blockbuster gloss for tighter character beats. Blended-in fantasy & magic elements keep the middle episodes from sagging.
